Motor in Depth and Wiring

We opened a submersible motor.

A motor has 2 coils


A submersible motor has bush bearings.
The joints in a submersible should be strong and waterproof.

While checking motor coils. We checked using series test lamp.

In some cases the two coils maybe touched together causing the motor not to start.

If the both coils are touched together you will have to rewind the motor.

Wiring

I fixed some industrial sockets and pins as students were stuffing open wires into sockets which is extremely dangerous.
