Electricity (Important Things to remember)
We saw a presentation on Electricity.
Electricity travels at the speed of light (186282 Mps).
Voltage is the reason electrons move, it is an electric force that pushes electrons around.
Resistance resists the flow of electrons creating a barrier in front of them, like a water pipe being pressed at a point making the water slow.
Resistance is denoted by Ohm (Ω).
Electric Power is when some action takes place, like a tungsten wire which has resistance and electricity tries to go forward but the wire will not let it go.
This creates Electric Power.
Electric Power is measured in Watt denoted as (W).
1 HP = 740 W
