Fab Lab Vinyl/Radium Cutter and Milling Machine

Today we were going to see the vinyl/radium cutting machine but because of maintenance issues we could not see it.

So we saw the model milling machine. It is capable of  making moulds out of a material wax and plastic mixture.

It can also make PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards).

We also learnt how to operate the software which came with the machines which works with "Ubuntu" an Linux distribution.

To use the software it needs to be started through the terminal.
