Land Measurement
- Aim: To measure land using standard measuring tools.
- Requirements: Meter Tape, Wooden Stick, Book and Pen, Calculator, Mobile Converter.
- Procedure:
- Place a wooden stick at a point start measuring by meter tape.
- Stop where the tape ends, note down the measurement in the book.
- Start measuring form the second point.
- Following this procedure measure all four sides of the field.
- Add all numbers and divide them by 2, which will determine area of land.
- Lets take a square of 4cm. After dividing it by 2 you get a total of 16 cm. Now divide it by 2, so you get 8 cm which is the area of the square.
- Conclusion: Land measurement helps us in keeping our land size maintained so that you can decide the quantity of seeds needed to plant.
